is this a good boost increase i just went forced induction a couple months ago, me and my buddy fabbed up a d-1 which is a 4.44 ratio 3rd gen procharger kit on my 98 ramair with a 3 core intercooler, i was using a stock ls1 procharger crank pulley and was making 7psi of boost at 6600 rpm, today i pinned my crank and balancer and put on a 7.25 crank pulley and i saw 11psi of boost at 5400, i was using a 3.40 blower pulley with the stock ls1 pulley and now the 7.25 pulley, my question is this a good increase in boost and what the norm is? i am running a forged 347 with ported ls1 heads with stock valves and a tr 224/224-112. i know this cam bleeds off boost so would you guys with boost suggest another cam to pick up more horsepower. i have yet to dyno it so i am not sure what i am putting down, i have hp tuners to tune with, i put 374 to the rear on motor and wanted to know what a good guess would be on my horsepower now. i am running 13 degrees timing and plan to add more on the dyno. im not sure what my a/f is as of now. i have 60lb mototrons and dual 255 intanks. thanks for you help.
I dunno about the cam but if you plan on runnin more then 13* of timing with out meth or race gas you better keep your eye on the knock sensor at all times. With out meth or racegas your should jsut stick to upping the boost. GL man

I would go with a different cam, I have the same problem as you do now. I would say thast is a good increase in horse power. For every pound of boost you make about 8 to 10 HP. My guess would be along the lines of 470 to 480 depending on the tune. As stated above watch out for detonation, 100 Octane would help out greatly.
