How many miles is alot of miles for a sc?
It would all depend on what type of charger, if the oil in the unit or car was changed when it had to be. How the charger looks, sounds and performs. I have about 23,000 on my Pro Charger with no problems.
A good rule to go by is to get the unit rebuilt. Most of the piping and intercoolers (if it has one) are non wear and tear items. The head unit is what you want to look at. Rebuilds are not cheap but if your getting it for a good price it worth the piece of mind. Just my .02
