power without intercooler? Just wondering approximately how much rwhp can you make on a forged 348 H/C car running a turbo without an intercooler? Is the intercooler needed
for 600 rwhp and pump gas? Goals of 600-650 rwhp on pump gas with the option of running 100 octane and uping the boost to whatever motor can handle. Thanks for the input. Looking at PTK single kit without intercooler or with an air to air IC. Just looking to save money if possible.

I think you may see 450-500rwhp and I hate to say this: this is what the STS kit does non-intercooled. Close the doors before all the pro/con STS'ers come in!! 
Seriously, intercooling helps tremendously but there are many cars that aren't and are still making good power. The intake charge gets extremely hot and has a direct relationship with raising as the pressure increases.

Your hp #'s are gonna depend on your psi. Head work? cam? The IC will keep your inlet temps coopler, resulting in denser air and more power. Synergy Motorsports makes a great front mount kit. Intercooler, piping, and connectors. Give em a call. (510) 796-3749
If you dont want to mess with cold side piping then maybe an Alky system would be good for you. Easy to install similar in benefits to an IC, gotta cool that air charge. STS guys have alot of plumbing to cool that air before it gets to the motor so if you go front mount you will probably have to do something. Alky is about the same price as an OBX with home fabed pipes
