78 PSI Fuel pressure
78 PSI Fuel pressure I just got through installing 2 walbro 255LPH pumps using a y-block and I'm seeing 78psi at the rails. Is this normal when running dual pumps? I am also running speed inc. vblaster and FP hotwire
i had that prob with the 97-98 vette rail/regulator setup. I ended up having to wire the 2nd pump seperately on a hobbs switch and now it kicks on at 4psi and the car runs off the other pump alone the rest of the time.
Yup 78psi at idle stock 99 Fbody rails and regulator. So the pumps are just over running the stock regulator? Can I just remove it or do I need some type of restriction on the return?
If you install a fuel presure regulator and a return line (The ventalation line has been used by some with good success.) is one solution another being the hobbs switch on the second pump. Removing the regulator will not help you right now IMO.
