Silicone Hose Question
Silicone Hose Question I am curious as to the strength of this hose on a N/A motor. I understand that it works well for FI applications, but what about a N/A motor? Is the hose strong enough to not collapse when put under large amounts of vacuum from taking in the outside air? I am having a debate with another member and neither are really sure of the correct answer. I am wanting to purchase one to replace my MAF, but not if it is going to collapse at WOT.

your airfilter will let air in and not collapse the hose, unless you put your hand over the intake port and try and rev the engine, then maybe it'll colapse or suck your hand in....
