change oil before or after STS install

i'm getting my STS kit installed in a few weeks, but i'm due for an oil change now. does the sts necessitate draining the oil when tapping into the oil system for the turbo? or can i just change it now and it'll only lose a bit? hate to waste mobil 1!

You should drain all the oil before tapping in.

Just change the oil at the same time you do the kit. Since you don't actually have to drill and tap for the oil feed (sts gives you a replacement fitting) you don't have to worry about metal particles contaminating the oil.
