Tom,
They did not come in time for my engine. There is no current plan to install them at this time. I have two sets of S11154LS in stock. They are 4.155X.043 Titan series.
For what its worth, we never reuse cometics gaskets. The Cometic is a nice part. We consider them equal to the factory mls part.

I would not reuse these gaskets.....I also wouldnt reuse cometics....I know they are reusable and can work fine but why chance it?

These gaskets do not require oring grooves in the head or block. No machining required. The o-ring is incorperated into the gasket.

They come in .43 .50 .62 .80 thicknesses. They also have popuplar bore sizes including 4.155.

I think I am going to try them ......there does not seem to be anything else out there other than cometics....which I have had experience with...and have to say I was not very impressed.

W2W......when do you plan on using these gaskets? any build coming up?

Tom Ulrich

i have reused my cometics about 3 times, they weeped once, but it was probably toqued wrong or just to much cylinder pressure. after i re-installed them they havent weeped after it.

IMO, if you don't need a special bore/thickness you can't beat the OE MLS gaskets. They seal properly, they're cheap, and they can take alot of abuse. And i'm in the habit of changing them regularly just because I abuse them

Mine saw high 20's to 30 psi all of last year. And i'm still running them this year, when it actually runs My target power/MPH will require north of 35psi this year.

Looking at 4.155 bore with .050 thickness....

Thanks Tom Ulrich
Yes, I have had one, but did not use it because the gasket was not the problem I had at the time. There are two different kinds that they make, they are about the same price as the commetic, excpet, they claim, no retorquing, they also claim that the design has the o-ring built in and they have been tested up to 42psi without failure. They also claim that they form better to the heads and block. The other requires you to o-ring the block.

Once a set of heads has been used for any lenght of time, the surface of the head will start to warp and everytime you take them off to replace the gaskets you are suppose to sand them down flat again.
You can verify this, by taking the heads wraping 200 grit around a piece of aluminum block and running it over the surface of the heads. These ICE titan gaskets allow you suposedly not to have to do this by better forming to the surface.

MLS is a multi layer steel gasket, Cometic, and Felpro and GM all make one.

The ICS gasket is a copper gasket.

so you have to specifically ask for a MLS then...you cant just go to a dealer or an auto storre and say i need a set of 6ltr head gaskets or a set of Felpro's then right?

the auto store may not have any mls gaskets avaliable.

goto the dealer and ask for some 02 6.0 head gaskets and they should be mls. they may not even sell the old style anymore.

they actually tell you to retorque...talked to them twice...they told me the same thing.

the ICS pieces have the oring built in. They recommend a flat surface. These are no recommended for "issues with warping".

Has anyone actually run these......any problems...?
