STS turbo loud as heck Is it just me or is the turbo loud as hell even at light throttle without boosting. Not that I'm complaining I love it...lol...its just loud...the turbo spools with such little throttle is it just me?..Just wondering about other sts kits. thanks
ya there real loud I love it too I boosted it one day and there was this car next to me and the guy asked what the hell was that are you running 25 lb of boost or what I said nope about 8# he said holly **** I never herd a turbo that loud!

they are loud.
too loud for this whimp. going to make a dual exhaust off of mine with supertrapps as tips and if that isn't enough I will add a bullet to it. Could give a rats *** if it costs me 50hp, just have to hit 1 button on the eboost to crank it up a psi to compensate.

I have 2 bullet mufflers off my turbo to quiet it down, they do a good job and i've gotten many compliments on it's sound.
One bullet right off the turbo then another after the 90 to the tail pipe. The waste gate is also plumbed in after the 1st muffler. All you hear is turbo whine now
My friend said it kinda sounds like two liter bikes racing each other.

I am definetly plumbing the wastegate in too.
Did you notice any diff in spool time between the open gate vs when you plumbed it in?
P.S. Zombie, since your running high boost poke into the STS oil leak thread and give your feedback please.

What does plumbing the wastegate mean?...you mean weld it into the muffler?...sorry if I sound stupid (too late)...lol
