Newbie questions

Newbie questions Well, kindof... Not new to FI, but new to FI on an LS1. (Previously had a 96 Z28 w/ a P-1SC 5# HO)
I am purchasing a used P-1SC this coming weekend for the T/A and I've been reading up on this FI forum and it seems there is a lot about the PVC system how to route it etc. From all my searches, I've seen everyone says to upgrade to a LS6 style system. So since my T/A is an 02 what do I need to do? Thanks for any info. If it has been answered before and you don't want to post your response again, can you please post a thread it was answered in? I may have missed it in my search. BTW- I will be running 7~8 psi.
Also, the kit comes with 38# injectors. Will that be enough, or will I need bigger? Should I get an inline fuel pump?
Any other info you think would be helpful please feel free to post or link. Trying to do a crash course and catch up so I can be prepared when I install it.
