Will 38# be enough for P-1SC @ 7-8psi?

Default Will 38# be enough for P-1SC @ 7-8psi?

I'm buying a used P-1SC that comes with 38# injectors and a 7-8# pulley. Will that be enough, or will I need bigger? Should I get an inline fuel pump as well? This is going on my stock 02 T/A motor. Will I be pushing the limits of the motor by running this much boost? It is my daily driver, and I don't mind lowering the boost to ~5 or 6# if the engine will be too stressed at 7-8#. Keep in mind, probably 80% of the time I will be out of the boost anyways cruising on the highway. I don't have any specific HP or TQ numbers I am trying to get with this setup. An additional 100/100 would be nice, but I'd really like to at least be able to run 11.99999 quarter mile. Are my goals achievable with 5-6 or will I need 7-8psi to drop .62 of a second in the 1/4? Thanks for any advise!

The Vortech kit comes with 38# injectors and people see 6-9 lbs. I think your goals should be easily achieved. A boost a pump will probably take care of your fuel. You can monitor the pump pressure and injector duty cycles once your up and running to see if there is a problem that needs to be addressed. As long as you tune it to make sure there is no detonation the engine should be O.K.. You will probably need to modify the P.C.V system to handle the blow-by.

Making the power to run 11s is not a problem, it would help if you had decent headers though.

I ran 11.30s in a full weight car years ago with a P1SC (happened to be with 38lb injectors as well) with 6psi, but it was an auto. Its a little tricky with a M6/stock rear but more then doable IMO.

Thanks for the input guys. How should I modify the PCV system? Yeah, I do plan on getting headers next to help the flow. I did notice a substancial differance on my old 96 Z28 w/ a P-1SC when I added headers to it.
