Wastegate Does anyone know what psi the wastegate that came with the phamspeed can hold? Is it a good way to controll boost? I am only looking to run 8.5psi max and was wondering if that would be a good way to control boost? just checking dont have that much money to buy a good boost controller, I just bought the bov and that thing was expensive...
there was a thread on this just the other day.Either its a 5# or an 11#...you have to take it apart and look at the spring....if its approximately 3inch long and 2inch inner diamenter than its a 5# spring
I think he's asking if the wastegate will support up to 8.5lbs? If you are referring to that, a wastegate works differently. The wastegate will "creep" if your trying to bleed too much air out of it... for ex. if you had a large turbo trying to run 5 pounds of boost and the wastegate couldn't bleed the excess off the boost would creep. That's when you would need to upgrade wastegates. If that's not what you meant disregard my previous statement
