Time for a new motor...need suggestions
Well the other day I hydro locked my motor...time for a new shortblock.
I am running a 100 shot dry now and plan too with the new motor, no more than 125. Next year I plan on going to a turbo. I want to stay close to stock CI's like a 347. I'm not really into radical cams and heads...I like it to sound good but not roudy.
So, who do u suggest for me to buy a shortblock? I will be running stage 2 LS6 heads, something like a Z06 cam or CHEAter cam, full exhaust with cats and muffler, and nothing else to radical and of course aftermarket clutch and 12 bolt. I do want it pretty much bullet proof, fully forged and so on.
Help me out here...

My www.ls1speed.com engine has done pretty well. It has:
8.2:1 compression (my choice)
Diamond Pistons
ARP main studs
01 LS6 block
A1 head studs
Cam Motion camshaft 236/246/114
Maybe email tom@ls1speed.com and get a quote.
