GMPP intake require cutting the cowl?

If you buy an elbow you may have to machine the flange down 3/4" to get some more hood clearance. On the White Stenod Formula the elbow fit with no cutting. On Kyle's car I just got done putting a hole through the top of the hood so you can see the Precision Turbo and Engine logo in the elbow from outside the car. Looks pimp! Just kidding.....
On Harlan's car he has a Firehawk hood which has some additional structures on the underside that we had to notch. No big deal though. Worse case scenario is you can get a custom elbow that has a smaller profile to it that should work. Reichard Racing makes one that you can look at.
