Default thermocouple for incon

I'm looking to put a couple in close to the turbos. I remember having read somewhere that incon manifolds already have a boss cast in but I have not popped teh hood and looked yet. I found THESE on egauges dot com and thinking the last one on the list is for me. any tips or suggestions on what to get?

not yet.....then again it isn't installed and might not be depending on what Jose conjures up.

Have you decided on a logger?

Frank

No longer have my kit (SSCAM68 bought it) But there are 6 locations on each manifold if I remember right. There is a connection for each header tube and then two additional. Threads are metric. I would have gotten the connections from www.swagelok.com and the type-K thermocouples from www.omega.com.

I was looking at logger from this company but there a ton others:

Thanks a bunch for the links red, the Omega site is what I was looking for. Industrial sensors, yeah. I have EFILive for logging.

Just remember to get a reference junction along with the thermocouple, otherwise something like efilive won't work.

Huh, I'll look into that but from what the manual says it sounds like you can connect a K type without doing anything else

The EFILive FlashScan interface is equipped with 3 separate inputs for capturing external data. The 2-pin terminal is a dedicated cold junction compensated k-type thermocouple input. The 3-pin terminal can accept up to 2 analog, 0V to 4.8V signals. Either of these two analog inputs can be used to log wide band O2 AFR data.
EDIT: Yep a CJC junction is temperature compensated so it should be acccurate.. thanx
