two options,

you can go to HomeDepot, and get some PVC fittings rig oneside to take an air hose nipple, and the other side with a pressure guage. hook it up to the compressor and pump air in, go over the entire thing with soapy water I tested mine this way to 25psi on the guage.

or the other way
is to go to a radiator shop, I had them do it cost about 5 bucks, only reason i had them do it as I decided to sell it and I wanted to make sure I was right in my assesment.

hope that helps

That is just the mounting plate/frame, no air goes through there at all - looks kinda crappy but it really wont hurt anything unless it damaged the tube under it.

motocycle inner tube, cut it in half, clamp it on and put some air in it and dunk it under water - poor man's intercooler/charge pipe weld tester

I would pressure test it just to make sure. Intercoolers seems to develop leaks quite easily...

i did mine similiar except i submerged it in the bathtub, i think thats easier then going over it with soapy spray bottle, plus you dont miss anything.

Mine came the same way. They just slapped it in a box and sent it, no packing materials or anything. You'd think when you pay like 30 bucks for shipping they'd at least do a better job than that.
