ugh... I need a new wastegate
ugh... I need a new wastegate MY spring is 7pounds, it touched 16 pounds last night in 3rd gear... 
I was watching my afr, and when it hit 12 I let off I looked over to see how much boost it was making right when I did it... 16 freaking pounds on pumpgas. I'm running a Tial 38, which is the base wastegate that comes with the STS kit I used to have
... my 76 and my 38 don't get along very well it seems. Can someone recommend another gate thats not the size of a can of beer "Racegate".

When we talked to PTK they said they were having problems with Tial WG's and trying to run low boost with them....... We decided to go with there recommendation....

I hear the Turbosmart gates work very well... that might save you some fabrication work!

I did the testing for FIS/PTK on the wasetgates. If you want something bigger but requires new flanges, then the Progate is the only way to go. Just give me a shout. I run the Turbosmart stuff myself. We dropped Tial off our kits.
