Question A few Procharger ?'s

What do I need to keep my ati crank from pulling my crank bolt and pulley loose? Will the 8-rib dampener do this? Who sells these besides ati? What is the best cam for a p-1sc? I've heard a stock zo6 cam. What size supercharger pulley should I get w/ a stock bottom end? Please help. Lemme know if you need more info!

I would upgrade to the ATI superdampner and the 8 rib drive. They also sell the tool to pin the crank. With theses two items you would have no problems. As for other dealears cant help you there. I bought mine from BOB @ EPP, he can even set you up with the crank pining tool as well.

As for a cam I am going with a Lingenfelter GT2-3, is a good streetable blower cam.

You can keep your original set-up if you do several things.

1. Make sure the ATI supplied crank bolt is not bottoming out before being fully tight. We normally have to cut .25 to .38 of an inch off of the crank bolt on the six rib kits to make sure it does not bottom out.
2. Clean the threads of the crank bolt to remove any oil residue, and apply loctite to the crank bolt and install.

Once you have done the items above, you should not have any problems keeping the pulley tight on the crank. Make sure the three ATI supplied crank pulley pins are still in there to engage with the harmonic balancer. Bob

I never tried cutting it but I did loctite it. I would feel much better w/ the 8-rib and pinning it!

I've been able to make my six rib kit work, but the eight rib upgrade is a nice way to go. The eight rib upgrade kit from ATI ProCharger is roughly $350.00, and the ATI Performance Products harmonic balancer is $475.00. The pinning kit is approx $110.00. Most sponsors can get these parts for you. Bob
