TA Nats Drags

What a day, even mother nature couldn't spoi the day for the drags. We had 5 outlaw/heads-up cars, and around 35-40 other cars running in 3 different classes. Winner of the heads up class was our very own Steve Turley, and runner up in both P-1(Friebird/bracket) and outlaw was Billy and Brian from LS1Source. There was one car that was a tube chassis,406 chevy,big tire,full electronics, total weight #2250 with driver and this car didn't have a class to run in. So the outlaw guys were asked if they wanted to allow him to run in their class which they allowed. Lets just say, Steve took care of him with no problem.
Congrats also to Heather who is the wife of 2001WS6Vert for winning the womans bracket class and also for making it a couple rounds in class P-2 which had mostly non firebird bracket race cars.
Thanks to all that showed up and helped out through out the day.
Also would like to thank Bruce Fulper from pontiacpower.com for having the event. He is a great guy and does his best to put on a show for the racers and fans. He gave away about 5 comp. cams(any grind),a X-pipe set up for a f-body,a complete valve job on any heads you send him, and a set of alum. edelbrock heads, and a 6ft trophy to the person who makes the farthest in the drag racing and is entered in the car show on Sun. at the TA Nats.
