Default Very Odd Idea

dual exhaust wheel...
WTF u say. well it would be one wheel in front of another. basically, the bigger wheel would feed from the further cylinder bank while the smaller one was fed by the closer bank. the way i would see this working is kind of like nitrous. the shorter the line from the noid, the harder the hit. the way i see it working is it would making the trubo hit more like a shot of nitrous. granted it would need 2 waste gates set at different psi.. i think. but yea the smaller wheel would get the turbo going then then bigger on would take over. whats odd is i can envision it in my head. thoughts?

You'd have the problem of more mass with two wheels, trying to accomplish the same thing as a VVT turbo currently does.

That is what they do with alot of the foreign cars that have twins. One is bigger tehn the other to get powend out of 1 and highend out of the other. I think that the RX-1 was liek that. It works good for a sports car from teh factory but i dont recall anyone ever doin that as a modifacation. The complexity is high as there is alot more factors to look at.
As far as the way you explain it that wouldnt work well at all. You have to have the exhaust go into 1 collector THEN go to the 2 turbos. Havin 1 bank have a little guy and the other have a big guy REALLY ***** with AFR's and EGT's. The problem being that one side has alot bigger restriction at the lower speeds adn the other has a big restriction at the higher speeds. Makin it impossible to get it tuned for any sort of power level. GL man

hmmm, so for it to work what would need to happen is both banks would feed a single wheel then somehow swith over by way of wastegate. this is all hypothetical. its nice to jus throw weird ideas out there once in a while
