We're starting on our first STS turbo install, and I will be adding this Camaro to my project car section. I've always been devoted to the ATI ProChargers and front mounted turbo's, so I'm skeptical myself. I ordered this STS kit with the upgraded GT-67 turbo option, and with the front mount intercooler. We will be installing the Holley/Walbro pn# 12-914 fuel pump and SVO 42# fuel injectors. The engine is also getting forged internals including a new crankshaft, so we're going after a lot of boost. I think there both good fi options.with the procharger you will have to iron out a few problems ie belt issues and the overheating but they seem to put up good track numbers.sts kit is good right out of the box no belts or overheating problems and make awsome power too.I would say for a mostly track car the procharger dsc1 is good but if you drive a lot on the street the sts is a lot of fun.like said before its like a 2-stroke dirt bike powerband when boost kicks in.to me thats a good thing not a bad thing

bob good luck with you sts build I think you will have fun with it and see good numbers.

I've got the STS T-67 kit and its ablast to drive boost starts at around 2300 to 2500 full boost by 2700rpm depanding on how heavy you put your foot in it. Down the road though you'll want to change the valve springs and push rods. But other then that its great. My SS is my daly driver and still maintains decient milage.
