Default RMS/HP turbo kits

I haven't seen anyone talk about the RMS turbo kit. I know it is a bit pricey but it seems to put out excellent power. Does anyone have any experience with this kit? I also want to know if anyone knows when the HP performance kit is going to be available. Does anyone have any PICTURES of the HP kit...I would like to see some....Thanks.

I called these guys up and they said that they only do in house installs, and that they dont sell their kit outright, I went to their website and it is updated saying that they are going to be selling the kit just not anytime soon.

The redline kit was my original plan for adding more power to my car.... but there's no way I was shipping my car from connecticut to colorado... especially when I had no car with it installed on to look at or anything, so H/C ended up being the route I chose, the decrease in parts to have problems with, and the level of power that I should be able to reach on the stock bottome end is acceptable to be, should be within 40 Hp of what a stock bottom end can handle with good reliability with a FI setup... so I really don't see it as a huge power level difference, especially considering the cost differnence between the 2. Never mind the fact that every guy with a superchanrger stup on a 4th gen has belt problems and all other crap happenieng all the time, and the turbo kits that were available when I started in on the project were limited... supercharging was making more power then the turbo kits were.. but that was 3 years ago.

All that aside, the kit does look good, jsut not sure how their downpipe is routed... if it's over the k member, then their kit should be a really good setup, that under the K member stuff doesn't intrest me at all. The no a/c probably bothers' some people too... but the way i look at it, if you want that kind of power, then you should be willing to make sacrifices in the comfort level.

Hp sucks they will probibly never release their kit. they sold a couple twin kits for the c5 and never sent out all the parts or even the instructions!! I would never give them any money period. They were also selling their kits on e bay and they did not even have all the parts to the kit when the auction closed! **** em.

I agree with 52172- do not give HP any money, I have been witness to their dealings with a shop in my part of the woods and they didn't get all of the parts and had to call lingenfelter to help them out a bit, which sucks because when you buy a kit it should be just that a kit not something that you have to fab up yourself. The zo6 runs good. but it took a couple of months to get everything. Doesn't sound like a company that I would want to give my money too.

It took more than a few months to get the parts we needed. The customer had ordered the HP kit himself and never got all the parts in over a year since it was ordered. We were still waiting on some of the main parts six months after it was ordered...
We sourced the intercooler to throttle body piece from Lingenfelters, in what is called their "Cobra" piece. They won't sell anymore of these parts separate, so don't bother trying. HP couldn't get the part made, so they sent us their mold, which was so badly designed that the hood would not of closed...
This Corvette can be found on my website in the project car section. Bob
