Default tee of the oil pressure sender

For the feed line to my turbo could i tee off my oil pressure sender behind the intake to feed the oil to the turbo and run the return line into where my oil level sensor is? Any help would be great i did a search but couldnt find this answer. This ls1 is in a 93 chevy truck. thanks guys for any help

I would go with this. All you have to do is take that off and drill and tap it.

Why couldnt i do something like that on the oil pressure sensor behind the intake? If i did it your way where do i run the return line to? thanks for any info

I don't know if you can do it your way or not.

You can drill and tap the side of the oil pan. Just do it as low as you can go but staying above the oil level. I would use a -10 return line.

You can run the pressure line off the back of the intake or the way Hellraiser said, i think most run it the way Hellraiser mentioned because in an f-body you dont have much room behind intake manifold without hitting firewall/cowl area.

You can NOT use the oil level sensor hole for the return because you have to have the return above the oil level in the pan.

Great thanks guys so i can run it off the oil sender unit. Will it cause my gauge to read any diffrent? So i have to tap the oil pan? Where would be the best place to tap it? thanks again guys

i would think it would read a little low since the fluid is always moving away and it's gonna go in the direction of less resistance.
