Default about to install Powerdyne..few questions??

Yea, I know, not the best out there, but I got the head unit dirt cheap. The unit has been rebuilt with a new kevlar belt. Im not expecting anything huge from my setup...I was just wondering if I am really going to need some flex-a-lite fans or not, I can have my stock ones come on at a lower temp if needed...anyone know?

The stock ones simply will not fit with the powerdyne headunit and plumbing in the way.....unless you move the radiator foward quite a bit....chopping welding.
Its best to go with the FALs and have em come on as low as you can.

I had (2) 13" pushers and one 14" puller on my setup. Worked great, but it was like $500 worth of fans.

Not to mention drawing 30+ amps.

Now that you mention it, I think they were pulling 44 amps! I actually had the car almost overheat because I popped the original 30 amp underhood fan fuse. I also ran an Optima Yellow because at idle with the fans on I was drawing off the battery.
