Bypass Q

Is there a way to mount the Mondo bypass valce without welding it on to a pipe?

You don't weld the Mondo on - you weld its mounting flange on and the Mondo bolts to it with 3 bolts.

You could fabricate something that the Mondo bolts to directly. It is best to mount it either near the blower end or the throttle end.

Ok do I need the flange then? If I cvan bolt the Mondo somewhere else then do I need the flange?

You do not have to have the flange. Vortech has the dimensions of the hole and bolt spacing in this document:

Any competent machine shop will be able to use the drawing to make a mount for you.

I made a custom mount for my Mondo, but ended up using the flange as a spacer between the mount and the Mondo.
