D1 cam
#2
We have used the Lingenfelter GT2-3 camshaft that they have Comp Cams make per their spec's, with very good results. Camshaft specifications: 207/220 duration @ .050 .573/.580 with 1.7 ratio rocker arms 118.5 CL. This cam has a smooth idle yet will give you a very noticeable improvement over the factory camshaft.
With an ATI ProCharger D-1SC at 8 psi along with the above camshaft, you will be at the 500 rwhp mark on an eddy current type of chassis dyno. This would be closer to 540 to 550 rwhp on a DynoJet chassis dyno. This is at the upper limit of what the factory pistons can handle. Tune it rich and you should be okay. Bob
