What is the differents with a tuner ATI kit and a reguler one?

Default What is the differents with a tuner ATI kit and a reguler one?

There isen't a FMU with the tuner kit right so what is used in its place?

You must have a 3rd party customize a fuel system for ya. That's what Golden West Performance did for me.

They added programming, a fuel pump some larger injectors and their expertise to create Stage II. <img src="images/icons/smile.gif" border="0">

I have a fuel system on my car with some 36 lb injetors on it already.
Have a freind with the LS1 edit.
So what else is needed?

Depending on what pulley you go with the 36# injectors might not be enough. <img src="images/icons/smile.gif" border="0"> I'm running 4psi with the 4" pulley and I'm seeing around 70% duty cycle on 42# injectors. <img src="images/icons/shocked.gif" border="0">

You may also want to look into a boost referenced pressure regulator. I was thinking about trying to compensate for the fuel pressure drop due to boost through the programming. One problem with this is that the injectors are still seeing less pressure so you can't make as much power with them. <img src="images/icons/frown.gif" border="0"> A boost referenced regulator seems to be the answer.

I think the main thing you have to worry about is the fuel system. If you do get it you'll have to get a check valve to put in the PCV line so boost doesn't get into the crankcase.

Thats all I can think of right now. <img src="images/icons/smile.gif" border="0">
