FI safe tune
FI safe tune I just finished my car and now it is time to tune it, the ? I have is that I have read that 8-10 psi will last on the stock bottom end if it is tuned right. What are the boundries I need to stay within timing /fuel ect.
My mods are 02 Z28
p1sc-1 8-10 psi expected
comp 220/224/568/568/114 & 918 springs
42 lb injec, walbro 255 pump
LT/ORY Magna flow catback
3000 2.0str stall
3.73 rear

Well, to give you something to shoot for, I would personally run around 11.0-11.5 air/fuel, and around 17deg total timing. (and a bit fatter and a few degrees less timing at peak torque).
I consider that safe/conservative, but still know that 10psi on the stock bottom end/compression ratio/pump gas may still compromise it's reliability.

I agree with the above tune spec's, and unless you have a pretty small pulley on your P-1SC, you're not going to see that much boost with your cam in your combination. Bob
