Had a melt down last night It seems the starter wire got to close to the header and melted it to the ground and kill all power in the car <img src="gr_sad.gif" border="0"> . What gets me there wasnt any heat wrap on it at all <img src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" border="0"> . That and when i opened the hood the eger pipe was glowing red <img src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" border="0"> . So hopefully all I need is new wires and I'll be up and running again. I think my car tryin to kill itself <img src="graemlins/gr_guns.gif" border="0" alt="[guns]" /> . Ether that I have <img src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" border="0" alt="[devil]" /> in te car.

I tried to lean that wire away from my header as far as I could, but I could have done a better job of it if I'd known how close it would come. I could have loosened the nut and moved it even further over. <img src="gr_sad.gif" border="0">
Oh, well... so far it hasn't been an issue.

Don't ignore those wires. Your crank position sensor wires and some 02 wires are in there too.
We lengthened them with 16 gauge and soldered in the extensions.
That was the cause of my electrical problem

Re: Had a melt down last night yea I'm wondering it that had to do with my missing problem. I'm going to rip the egr off now after looking at that pipe.
