Max RWHP from ATI What do you guys think is the max rwhp we can get from a "D" stage ATI charger?? From a totally built engine (forged, oringed and all that). They say the "D" charger is good to 925 hp. Can a ATI stage 3 make as much as these vaunted TT or within 50rwhp?? I guess on a built engine that we could run 15# or a lil more on these s/c's.
I am thinking that ceteris paribus EXACT same engines, just different boost methods), a s/c running 15# and a TT running 15# in the 1/4 should be very very close?!@?

You will be one of the few that have stepped up to THAT plate... ATI's are only recently out for the LS1, and by all indications, I'd say they are already a success story!

Re: Max RWHP from ATI If you can build a motor to take it, ATI can deliver as much as 2000-2200 horsepower. Unfortunatly, the best LS-1 block out is the C5-R block and the manufacturer of that motor is not too compfortable with even 1500 hp. But, he was curious to see what would happen.
ATI came out with some new blowers here lately, and we are going to be doing some testing over the next month or so on one of our in house cars. Last week the crystal ball told be an easy 1200 should be possible.
We'll keep you posted.
