Default Twin Turbos

I have a 2002 Firehawk on order. I'm wanting Twin Turbos instead of a supercharger because of the constant high pressure with superchargers. My question is what company should I go with? I know quite a bit more about Incon Turbos than Turbo Tech. Maybe I should just go with one turbo? Also, what will it run me to get the kit, install it and everything else needed so I don't shred the gears of my car.
Thanks for the advice.

You wont get one from Incon anytime soon. There are about 25 of us that have been waiting a year for our kits. Costs depends on your horsepower goals. I believe stage I Incon kits are upto $5500 and is supports around 450 rwhp. Figure around $1500 for installation, plus a few hundred for guages.

You will most likely want to replace the 10 bolt with a 9" ford or 12-bolt if you will be doing any drag racing, these are around $2300. You will also need a new clutch which is around $500 or more. If you plan on having traction then most of the suspension may need to be replaced.

With only 91 octane and our high altitude you wont make to much power unless you up the boost a bit and run higher octane.

So basically figure out your power requirements then figure out how you want to get there. Also supercharger will not have much boost down low and you reach maximum boost at redline. The Incon turbos make maximum boost by 2800-3000 rpm and are considerably more work to install and maintain.

I am sure you will get some more comments.

Hard to say exactly. Not sure how long a 10 bolt will hold up behind a m6, I have an a4. I replaced all the suspension, the transmission/torque converter, and will be replacing the 10 bolt and driveshaft soon. Also Incon recommends replacing the the valve spring (since they suck). So while your in there replace the pushrods, lifters, springs and retainers.

Plus you will need some dyno tuning or some nice open road and a wideband (my option). Plus for our octane the computer will most likely need to be reprogrammed. The stage II kit comes with an addon computer and injectors.

I dont think there is installation facility anywere near here. Incon requires a certified installer or yourself otherwise they void there warranty. Of course there warranty is useless at this point for a few of us. Dont get me wrong the kits make great power, Incon has had trouble with delivery.
