"Boosting" a new Z ?`s

"Boosting" a new Z ?`s Thinking real hard about a ATI P-1SC for my new baby! In fact, there info has got me pretty well sold. But before I make the move and being that I am new to the forced induction game, I would like to hear the good , bad and ugly. The ultimate goal here being to see high 11`s while maintaining drivability/reliability (like not smoking a brand new motor with 3 years of warrenty.)Over and above the items included with the system, what are some typical "additional necessary" mods that go hand in hand with running a s/c? (Other than traction ha ha.) I would like this to be my only mod with the exception of a cat back exhaust for a while (or I may end up paying for a devorce too!!) but I also need to keep pace with the `stangs & imports around here. So if you guys can help me out with some comments/input I would be greatful!Thanks.
By the way, for the record shes a A4 w/3.23`s and right around 27 miles on her.

Re: "Boosting" a new Z ?`s Count on spending almost 1500 after you drop the money for the blower.
You'll need waterproof connectors, a check valve for the PVC/throttle body breather line, guages, a little bit of wire, zip ties, split loom, misc hose clamps/nuts/bolts, spark plugs, and it would be nice to have a laptop and scanning program. All these things will be out of pocket and don't come with a blower. I bet your are due for a fuel filter change as well. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0"> I sure am.
I pretty much wrote a diary on ls1.com about my install, it's lengthy, and I don't think it's there anymore, being they switched forums. Though it's a large file, I can email it to you (it's too big to copy and paste here!)
With an auto your rear should live a decent life, tire choice is key here. You'll be faced with the compromise of traction or longevity.
The ATI is a great kit. I don't have any dynoes or track times yet, I've got a few things I need to take care of first but come this summer I KNOW I'm going to have a screamer.

All depends on how radical you want to get w/ your setup. You should be able to be consistant 11's w/ the A4, but if you ever want to put a real tire on it....
