Re: Leaking connector on oil line What type of connectors, I assume from your statement that it is a npt connection. If its npt its pretty much a must to tape or use the teflon paste.
If its a AN type fitting then check the 37 flare for damage. Also you might be able to find some nose seals. They slip over the flare and made of copper and provide a leak tight connection for AN fittings. We use them at work or we machine a groove in the flare for a teflon insert to help the sealing.

Leaking connector on oil line I've had a cronic leaker at the connector on the oil line.
I've tightened the hell out of it and it still drips. I was thinking of using teflon tape on this. Anyone have more experiance with oil lines? Should I just replace the connector instead?

Re: Leaking connector on oil line This is a custom Twin Turbo setup. This is the connector/line coming out of the turbo the female part of the connector then feeds into the scavange pump line.

Re: Leaking connector on oil line Yeah it's an AN fitting and I think it was tightened one too many times....I think the flare is a bit dented. I'll order a new one to replace this one. Should fix the problem thanks for the help.
