How safe are these with FI?

How safe are these with FI? I'm currently running 18x9.5s on all four corners.
I know this may sound stupid but with something like S-03s, BFG KDs, or 555 Extremes, are 18s safe with FI with say 450-525 hp?
I'm talking strictly street use here. I don't want to punch it from 60mph and still put her in the ditch.
Kinda indirectly a FI question but it's something I'd have to deal with and spend money on if I have to drop back to 17s.
