boost.... how much??? Just wondering if anyone knows how much boost a stock 5.3 can take "safely" with no internal mods. (2002 sierra, powerdyne 6psi, gibson headders, nology wires, ngk-tr6 plugs, flowmaster exhaust, soon to be intercooled and 31lb injectors)

I would jump up to 42lb injectors and with a good fuel pump and intercooling, you won't have any internal engine problems with 8 psi of boost, provided you have a good tune. Bob
