could valve float cause loss of boost??
my theory is the rockers were too tight ( too much preload ) and i know that too much preload causes valve float, so do you think i have something going on there or am i just too sleepy???
question sais it all, i had the the ati kit on the motor with 1.8 rockers , but i never saw anything above 4 psi ( it was the 12 psi kit).

Fuel odor from exhaust,
Extremely rough idle,
MIL to go on (to put it mildly)
AND, give little compression.
The best way to check IMO is to do a leak down test. It'll take you twenty minutes, and you'll know EXACTLY what is happening. In extreme cases of overtightened rockers with large cams, bent valves. I won't tell you how I know this one...
