Re-Clocking Incon Tilton Pump
My scavenge pump took a dump awhile ago and I bought one from
someone off of the internet.
Its the same model as the one supplied but the openings are 45
degree's off.
I had taken another one apart and knew I could get it to spin around
but I don't remember how and I hate to destroy the pump to get it to
work.
There are 2 pics, the pump on the LEFT is the correct one, the one
on the right is the new one, I need to rotate the pump portion 45
degree's otherwise nothing reaches or fits.

Warning, these are big pics.
Thanks!

OK
you can rotate the piston section of the pump 90°
the 2 small holes in the piston assembly have 2 phillips head screws holding the assembly to the motor body. Remove the 2 screws, must take them completely out. Then you can rotate the assembly.
There is another set of threaded holes in the motor body. there's a raised dent on the motor body so you can only rotate the piston assembly clockwise (looking at it fron the top)
Good luck <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: Re-Clocking Incon Tilton Pump
Dummy me, I got 45 and 90 degree's mixed up.
I talked to Rod later on, it seems there are 4 holes for the pump portion but it only uses 2 so you can rotate it 90 degree's.
I was getting mixed up with rotating the top 180 degree's.
I'll take it apart and re-do it tonight.
