Need Cam Ideas for Incon TT Hello all.
I have a 2000 WS6 with the incon stage one 4# kit on it. The engine is all stock except for 36# injectors and 160 thermo. I am looking to put a cam in it but not sure what i can get away with without having to do the heads right now. I just put ghostflames on the car so i can't afford to do the heads right now. Any help on cam specs or if i shouldn't even attempt it would be great. Thanks in advance to anyone. <img border="0" alt="[Firebird]" title="" src="graemlins/formula.gif" />

Re: Need Cam Ideas for Incon TT A cam would be a real good idea, but is that all you have? I mean do you have an exhaust system yet? That would be the cheaest way and then you could save and do the heads and cam at the same time. Just a thought, also do you have any pics? I'd Love to see those ghost flames.

Re: Need Cam Ideas for Incon TT I agree. If you haven't done exhaust yet, an Off-Road Y-Pipe and cutout would really help on a turbo car.
For a cam, with stock heads, maybe the Thunder Racing 230/224 cam, as Turbos like more intake duration.

Re: Need Cam Ideas for Incon TT You would probably want more exhaust duration since the turbo forces the air into the motor, it just needs help getting it out. I assume you now that you will have to get a custom y-pipe made since Incon uses one specifically designed for the kit. The stock cam works really well and why break into the motor just for the cam. Wait to you get some cash and do the whole engine or at least head/cam.

They are usually single pattern or have more intake duration.

Re: Need Cam Ideas for Incon TT Thanks guys. I have the SLP loudmouth Exhaust. I am doing heads at the same time. I decided on a 224/227 114lsa cam. It should work well with my set up, i am also doing an LS6 intake on top of that as well. Pushrods and springs, titanium retainers as well. Should be a but load of fun when its all done. Should know in about 2 weeks how it all turns out. Thanks again everyone for the help and heres a pic of the ghost flames for the one that asked.
