Default PY3400E or Vig3200?

After alot of thinking (and dreaming) I`ve decided to cross over to the dark side. Next year I will be installing a single turbo kit. (Probably LS1 Motorsports new kit) But at the end of this summer I want to do a converter swap. From what I`ve heard the Yank Extremes work pretty well behind boost but DAMN that`s an expensive item! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> So I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with a Vig3200 in there FI cars? I will be running pretty tame boost levels (just looking for high 11`s, for now anyway <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> ) and I`ve heard a few guys say the Vigs hold up pretty well with n2o but hadn`t heard about guys using them on turbo cars. I also figured the Vig would be a little more fun to drive then the Yank before the huffer goes in. What do you guys think? Can I get away with the cheap route or will I be sorry?

IMHO, you get what you pay for.

It was expensive for me to go with the SY3500 for my N/A setup, but BOY was it worth it! My plan is to convert my SY3500 to a PY3400E.

Yea, you are right. The extra $300 is probably worth it. I mean, if I`m going to spend $6k on a turbo what`s $300? You know, now that I`m thinking about it, this probably should have been in the Drivetrain section. Sorry about that. I was having many beers last night. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I pulled the wheels with a 1.67 60' 2 weeks ago with my vig 3200, I am supercharged.
