The dynojet vs. mustang dyno thing is just a mith. They read power the same way. The only difrence is the load that the mustang dyno can apply. Which will not affect the power reading unless its a powerfull turbo car that builds boost per load. Or if you change the correction factor. Horspower is horspower. There is only one way to calculate horsepower. Nothing will change it. I have seen one car come off a mustang dyno go 2 miles down the road within the our onto a dynojet and they were within 2 hp. The 2 diffrence could have been one of many reasons. But looks to me like they are close enough.

Next time I am going to spin the engine higher. Erik says the bottom end will hold to 7500 But said just shift @ 6800
But I will probably just take it to 6500 or when my power drops off.
Where is your motor?

read the dyno section....the majority of people disagree with you from their experiences

Its too bad the other guys backed out. It was a great deal.
I can't wait to see what you will put out on 10#. I have to figure out how to get there. But for now, I am pretty happy

the other guy was Got Me Som who just got his car done as well....he lives like an hour from me. any time you feel like going to the east coast take a trip to sunny FL and we'll meet up.I swear i dont know how Eric was able to put that deal together and still make any money.i cant wait to see what i do either.....im beginning to think that if ur making the numbers u are(which i think are huge for 7#s) then hypothetically i should make quite a bit more at 10-15#s and since i dont have a blower eating hp ive got no clue to what ill put down.just trying to be patient.id like to see what youd do at more boost.the torque on the street must be crazy!
im still amazed Eric said its good to 7500rpms!

I was surprised to. But I don't think will I try it though.
Ed,
High 6000 rpm range easy but that’s more the valvetrain. I don’t know what kind of valvetrain setup you are running but the shortblock can go as high as you want with stock oiling (7500 for short duration probably).

Yeah you could probably shift around 6800 or so.

Make sure you have enough tension and are not getting belt slip.
On a 370ci motor with stage III heads and a decent cam the 3.4 made 14psi I believe it was and 687 rwhp. That was a D1 blower though.
It's either slipping or you have a leak somewhere if your only seeing 7psi IMO. I know the P1 is the little brother but it should make at least 11 on that motor I would think.
