how to control boost spike
I am running 9 psi now on what I think is a 8.5:1 motor now. My problem is it spikes to 10-11 psi and then settles back down to 9psi. I hope to run more boost soon but don't want to overboost with a spike. What's the best way to control spike?

Make sure you get a good wastegate.

are you using the manual controller now or just the wastegate?
if you have the manual controler, hook it between the port ahead of the tb and the wastegate, that way it will see boost sooner.. also maybe mount it in the engine bay, less vaccum hose will be less air inside to compress and a quicker response.
