lol I guess those 6second centrifugal Blown cars are impratical for automotive use huu? I love how people beleive everything they read.

practical for race cars, yes. Daily drivers are another matter. John Force has a 4-second daily driver; most of us have to go a bit slower! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

The more low-end power you have, the easier it is to live with the high-end only boost of a centrifugal compressor. LT1 is a good example - lots of low end, but it falls off pretty fast - the centrifugal blower makes the torque curve flat as far as you dare to push it... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />
The 4-bangers with Vortechs can't understand why they aren't any faster on the street, when they are only making 1 or 2 pounds of boost at normal driving RPM... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />
