over heating after WOT??

over heating after WOT?? i have the ATI stage II kit and a new 6.0 .
i had this problem on my old motor too with the blower: after a short blast ( WOT in 2nd and 3rd) the car overheats imediately to around 245 deg.
it then stays there untill i drive it with the AC off for a few minutes.
what could be wrong??
what should i do?

Re: over heating after WOT?? Is your rad sealed good. So air coming from the bottom only can go threw the rad and not into the engine bay? That and check if your running lean. If both of those are good I would get a lower thremostat

Re: over heating after WOT?? i already have a 160 thermo. i didn't understand the sealed part?? do you mean that the shroud is sealing well??
i had the shroud on before on both the new and old engines and it still overheated during wot.
i now have removed the shroud and it helps keep the car cooler during crusing with the AC on ( i have a second pusher fan too).
could it be an air pocket??
