Need information, please. I am interested in supercharging an LS1. I would like to know if stock internals would take a small cam, ported heads, and a blower. This with forged pistons of course. I am looking for 400-420rwhp and 400-420rwtq on stock stuff.
If the stock parts will not take this, what do you suggest? I was thinking of 8.5-9.0 compression with dished pistons and around 8psi. Please forgive me if I sound stupid but I have never messed with a blower but would like to. I just don't want <img border="0" alt="[kaboom]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_bomb.gif" /> .
PS This will go in a truck.
