ATI Front mount intercooler?
ATI Front mount intercooler? Has anybody fabricated a front mount intercooler for their 2000 or other car. I did a search, but was hoping to get some more info. I just put on the upgraded release of the LS1 unit with the
D-1SC.
I am sure the better air flow would have a good effect on the cars performance. Not only that but it would look mean.
If you have done this before
1. What were the dimensions and supplier of the intercooler?
2. How did you mount the intercooler and what did you do for piping?

Re: ATI Front mount intercooler? I amagin the front end of the ls1 is not much diff than the lt1 cars so you could prob just use the same type setup like they use for the front mount air air's.
Most I have seen on the LT1's are using the 3 core ati intercooler think it is like a core size of 6x4.5x30 but not positive I would measure and see what you have room wise (include tank size and call spearco up and see what they can do for you (place entrance or exits anywhere)

Here is one that is pretty complete. I would pull your nose off and go from there see what you have to move or take out. I amagin that you will have to pull crash plastic and maybe hollow out the bumper support thing so you can get even more air flow through
