Default thinking of building a motor for boost..need help

i am thinking of starting on a motor for my SS so i will have something to put in when the stock one goes. i don't know much about it so any help would be appreciated.
i am running about 9lbs of turbo loost right now but plan on upgrading from my t-60 to a t-76 when i do this and running around 15lbs.
i need to start with an iron block(6.0 right..?). i already have a good set of heads and will probably change cams. do i need to bore/stroke, use stock crank, o-ring, bigger than 36lb inj..? will a LS6 intake do fine with thsi setup? also, where is the best place to get most of this stuff from?
here is a site with some pics and most of my
current mods.

Well first off youll need to drop the CR at least to 9:1 (maybe more).
6.0 block would be nice (5.7 would work too)
but with a 4.0 bore and 4.0 stroke ahhh 404 ci! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
stock crank would work but 404 would be awsome!
if you got some $$ left go ahead and get it oringed.
youll need at least 42 lb'ers.
id rather have the holley intake but the ls6 will work

what is your horsepower goal? boost level is not really a good way to measure the necessary strength needed.

my goal 600 rear wheel
the motor i have is a are longblock:
_factory aluminum block stock cubes
_custom forged 8.75:1 pistons
_custom cam
_ported heads
_custom billet rods
_stock crank
_are "boost" head gaskets
_arp rod bolts/head studs
_ls6 intake
_ported tb
_z06 maf
_!AIR to crankcase pump conversion

i doubt my 42# injectors will get me there but 50's will if i have to go there, twin gss340 intank pumps too with braided lines up to some billet fuel rails and a boost sensitive regulator.
also using ls1 edit to tune.

this may be more than you asked for, but you really gotta have your bases covered when you want big numbers with FI

i don't really have a horsepower goal because i don't have any dyno #'s with my current setup so i don't know how much i want to improve.
i would say over 600rwhp. it seems like everyone and their dog runs 11's and i would like to make it an easy mid to low 10 sec car.
do you reccommend o-ringing the block or the heads? i have done both with stangs.

thanks
