Default Question about Turbos

Hi guys, I am new to the forum, but not new to racing my LS1. The stock power just doesn't cut it for me anymore. Here is my dilema: Ever since I saw the video of the twin turbo TA smoking a GSX-R 1000, I wanted a kit. Now I am really worried about the following things:
A.)They cost a hell of a lot
B.)They are prone to breaking
C.)They make my engine prone to breaking
D.)It will no longer be able to be my every day driver
Now the last one I know might be a little bit out there and I understand that. But is it worth it? Should I just port and polish my heads, get a new cam, air lid, off road y-pipe, heards and intake? Or is it ok for me to go twin turbo. I want to know, because I want to make the right cam move. If I get a 224/224 comp cam, it will actually negate the power of the turbos, but I do have the option of buying a custom grind turbo cam. If someone could please tell me the pros and cons, and the action I should take, please do so.

a) true
b) true
c) true
d) false
well im planning on keeping my turbotransam my daily driver (80 miles a day too).
and im not real sure the 224/224 cam will negate the power from the turbo. Thats the cam im going to be putting in (224/24-114), i let you know how the cam turns out. a 224/221 might have been better, bet i was getting conflicting info about what to get so i went even with the intake and exhaust.

I amw ondering what would be more worth while, the turbo (single turbo that is coming out), or the building up the engine route.

For a daily driver you might try Robs single kit at lower boost. Should make good power and be reliable if you dont get greedy and turn that ****. You WILL eventually turn that boost **** to get more power. It's like a pretty girlfriend....awesome for awhile then somehow you want MORE <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

if you go radical on the engine, your drivability will be impaired, along with mileage and streetability, with a turbo of equal output, the car will run, drive, act stock untill you get into it, then the fun begins.
