Turbo or Not?
After reading a bit i thought a cam, longtubes and gears would give me good results.
Now im thinking I want a turbo, with that in mind is the stock cam capable of giving good results when a turbo is added if not what do you guys recomend?
The longtubes are scratched of my list because Im hoping for a turbo
and also because I was hoping I could keep it street legal under cali smog standards so i could use it daily (with out paying someone off to pass smog lol), does anyone know if theres a Street legal turbo kit out there. (incase theres not then I guess Ill have to pay some off lol)
Also all we have is 91 octane at gas stations here in cali (at least in my town) so Im thinking theres no way I am going to be able to have a turbo on a 10:1 (i think) comp. car runing on 91 pump gas so I have another question (which might sound rediculous)
Is there a way I could lower my compresion with out loosing power? that way I could drive it daily with 91 octane on low boost then put some higher octane when I want to run it and up the boost.
