ATI twin intercoolers and STS system
ATI twin intercoolers and STS system i picked up a se of ATI- Procharger twin LS1 F-body intercoolers, i want to install a T67 - T70 STS turbo system on my 01 M6 SS camaro,
i did not want to hack up the front of the car for a front mount and lose my SLP SS insert grill either , so i went and found a set of the ATI LS1 intercoolers,
how much can these intercoolers flow, how good will they work , (how efficient) will they be ?
I figured they wont have much to work to do with a rear mount turbo kit,

The 3.5" twin intercoolers from ATI work very well up to 500 rwhp on my Mustang Chassis Dyno, 540 - 550rwhp on an unloaded DynoJet. The new for '05 4.5" (one inch thicker) ATI twin intercoolers can handle more horsepower, and use 3" tubing instead of the smaller 2.5" tubing that the 3.5" intercoolers used. These figures are with the added heat of the ATI ProChargers, so with the STS system, the horsepower that the intercoolers could support would be higher. All in all, I don't think it would be a bad idea. Bob
how big are the pips that come with the sts kit?
Also do u think the 3.5 procharger intercoolers can handle 600 HP with the STS turbo system hooked up to them.
How much more power can the 4.5 procharger twin intercoolers handle, flow over the 3.5 twin intercoolers?
