Default intercooled boost

I would like some opinions on how the ls1 fairs against 5 lbs of intercooled boost.
I'm wondering if I would burn more oil than I do now.
I burn about a quart every 1500 to 1800 miles.

oil burning? I don't know, but 5 lbs is pretty good on an ls1.

YA figure out the oil thing. These engines take 5lbs like it was candy . I'm up to 7psi and still running great. No oil burning or anything. I want to run 10psi but Im chicken.

Determine Why You Are Using So Much Oil Before You Add A Supercharger. Five Pounds On A good LS-1 Motor Is Nothing, Most Of My Customers Are Running 8lbs. I Have A Few That Are Running 10-12, But The Drivetrain Becomes An Issue.
