Re: Stock fans with ATI I have 2 flex a lite fans.. and they suck as well. I dont want to call GWP if I dont have to. I was hoping someone on here has done it and would be willing to help me out.

I just got my ATI D1, I will be installing it in a few days. I have a 2002 Z06 and will be using the stock fans. Ive talked to a couple people about it and (all you have to do), dont you just love that phrase? is move the radiator lower mount forward. Either move the existing mounts or fabricate new ones, then the top portion of the radiator lays down under the inlet. Apparently the A/c evaporator will stretch enough. You will need a new lower radiator hose. Im not sure what kind of car you have but maybe this information will help. But like i said, I will be doing mine in a couple days and after that I will have plenty of pics and first hand information. Here is a link with a few pics of something similar i will be doing.
